Deadlines:
Must be postmarked by December 31st if using USPS. Must be received by December 31st if using a non-USPS mail carrier (FedEx, UPS, etc.)

What To Do:
Make checks payable to University Impact, and include the DAF name in the memo section

Wires

Deadlines:
Initiate wire transfers by December 27th. Transfers must be settled in University Impact's account by December 31st.

What To Do:
Submit a transfer request to the financial institution currently holding the assets. If you do not have a UI DAF brokerage account, contact UI Charitable Advisors for wire instructions.

Stocks, Bonds, ETFs*

Deadlines:
Initiate transfer by December 23rd. Transfers must be settled in University Impact's account by December 31st.

What To Do:
Submit a transfer request to the financial institution holding the assets. If you do not have a UI DAF brokerage account, contact UI Charitable Advisors for wire instructions.

Private Business Interest, Real Estate, and Other Complex Assets

Deadlines:
Initiate transfer by December 16th.

What To Do:
Contact Hyrum Grenny at (801)-616-8660 for assistance.

Cryptocurrency

Deadlines:
Initiate Transfers by December 27th. Transfers must be received by December 31st.

What To Do:
Submit a request to your current Crypto Exchange to transfer to the UI Crypto Account at Gemini, Coinbase, or Kraken. Contact UI Charitable Advisors for account information

* For gifts of stock, bonds, ETFs or mutual funds, please note that the external custodian currently holding the assets may require that you submit a Letter of Instruction to initiate the transfer of the assets; if so, please present originals of the completed Letter of Instruction to the external custodian and not to UI Charitable Advisors.
