Brigham Young University

Dr. H. Daniel Heist is an Assistant Professor of Nonprofit Management and Social Impact at the George W. Romney Institute for Public Service and Ethics at Brigham Young University. He researches philanthropy, charitable giving and volunteering. His 9 years of professional fundraising experience inform his research. Dr. Heist is a leading expert on donor-advised fund research and co-founder of the Donor-Advised Fund Research Collaborative.

Emily Wetter
Customer Service Specialist, Holistiplan

Emily Wetter, CFP®, EA is a Customer Success Specialist on the team at Holistiplan. She is responsible for helping new users get acquainted with the software and adopting its use into their current process when working with clients. A former financial advisor, Emily led the Tax Planning conversations with clients at her firm and found that the adoption of Holistiplan in her own practice helped to streamline those analyses and made this element of comprehensive planning more scalable and efficient.
