What You Can’t Do with Your DAF

While DAFs offer incredible flexibility, there are important restrictions:

• No Personal Benefits: You cannot use DAF funds to pay for goods or services, such as tickets to a fundraiser or auction items.
  
  

• No Political Contributions: DAFs cannot fund political campaigns or lobbying efforts.
  
  

• No Direct Payments to Individuals: Grants must go to qualified charitable organizations, not individuals.
